Fall In Love
It’s Fall Y’All and I can hardly contain my excitement. Autumn finds me giddy with joy as leaves begin to turn colors and the first crisp air breezes in. Bonfires and hayrides make me feel all snugly. Yes, Fall has always conjured up the emotion of falling in love to me. Walking hand in hand through a sunflower field or sitting close on a cool crisp night watching a football game under the lights. Cozying up with a good romance book. Love is simply in the air. Our summers are always filled with tons of family cookouts, beach time and smores by the fire-pit in the evenings, but September signals a calm for us. Kids return to school and a sense of order is once again restored. It’s a time for us, a time where we can fall in love all over again. My husband and I were married on November 17th. Every year we go away to Lancaster County in early November for our Anniversary. We enjoy the delicious treats that Autumn brings, Pumpkin pie, Carmel apples, and cornbread stuffing. We drive through the rolling hills of Lancaster and enjoy the fields of hay stalks, pumpkin patches and corn mazes. I buy a ton of home décor, (which I absolutely don’t need), white pumpkins, black and white buffalo check runners, blankets in warm tones of rust and cream plaid, pillows, so many pillows! So, when the first leaf falls, my heart goes with it. The season for cuddling begins.
